Dear Reader,
Isn't life one hell of a crazy experience?
I feel like you can be at the bottom one day and back up the next. And then there's some periods of life that no matter what you do, you just can't seem to break through.
In those times life can feel very dark.
Each of us carries our own problems, "cargos” as we say in Spanish.
Recently I realized the importance of giving ourselves permission, even in little ways, to be happy.
When you're caring for a loved one, or have health issues, or battling to pay the bills, or just struggling to do the washing on top of life. It can seem alot.
BUT there can be moments of happiness. The thing is it takes alof of courage in those moments to give ourselves permission to be happy.
As if we should be suffering more. Or because someone else is suffering we feel guilty if we enjoy something. Or perhaps we feel we should be busy and don't deserve to just be for 10 minutes without doing anything.
Last week instead of my usual lunch, I had cheesecake. And my friend said to me "sé feliz".
Be happy.
It's impossible to be continuously happy but maybe just take a moment or two today to be happy, with your coffee, or five minutes lying on the couch just letting yourself be.
Have an amazing week everyone. And remember…
You've got this!
Lisa
2 Things

01. Happy Moments
Last weekend I went on an adventure with a few of my motorbiking friends. We had the best day! Mountains, motorbikes and ice creams (cos it's summer here and SO hot!).
I wish you a day like this, this week!
02. You can't stress your way to good health
You can't be eating salad, and training like a demon but all the while be stressed about reaching your Strava goals etc.
